It’s Mother’s Day

It’s Mother’s Day

When it’s just past midnight and your son(s) or daughter(s) calls to say “Happy Mother’s Day”

You fall asleep thinking this is going to be a beautiful day

It’s Mother’s Day

When at 7am you are awakened by the sounds of giggles and chatter and the smell of fresh brewed coffee percolating in the kitchen you didn’t make yourself.

It’s Mother’s Day

When you are showered with gifts and cards and smiles early in the day

It’s Mother’s Day

When you hear the words “I love you Mom” over and over and you don’t mind because you realize how much you really are appreciated

It’s Mother’s Day

When little things are done, like the toys are picked up and the floor is swept and the dishes are put away without you having to ask.

It’s Mother’s Day

When you’re getting dressed to go out, but have no idea where you’re going, but because you know you will be with your kid(s), it’s okay.

It’s Mother’s Day

Because your family goes out of their way to make your day special and you clearly see that all your hard work to be their mother is still worth the effort and you wouldn’t change it for the world.

Happy Mother’s Day to all Mom’s
